The Italian Accordion Academy releases the first diatonic accordion on-line course
The Italian Accordion Academy is an Italian school of music exclusively concerned with education on diatonic accordion and its repertory around the world.
Recently the Academy has released the first on-line course of diatonic accordion, organized through user-friendly learning modules.
Actually, the Italian Accordion Academy is offering to the diatonic accordion players in Italy and around the world the first learning modules concerning Italian traditional music and a lot of international tunes that the Academy suggest to every diatonic accordion player.
So we can approach not only on-line lessons about famous Italian folk dances as “tarantella” or “pizzica”, but we found also French bourrées valzer and mazurkas, Spanish Fandango, Irish Jigs and Klezmer and Yiddish tunes.
Furthermore, the Italian Accordion Academy offers a basic course for those people that wish to begin to play diatonic accordion starting from the basics.

Some of the best international players will be involved in the on-line course in order to prepare very specific learning modules about traditional music from the world.
Each learning module (always accessible) is dedicated to a specific tune and it includes videos, audios, tablatures, musical exercises and suggestions oriented to correctly improve one's own skills on the instrument. It is not necessary to install any software. You need only a web browser.
The aim of the Academy is to increase the number of good player around the world and, above all, communicate the passion of the diatonic accordion and its international repertory.
The Italian Accordion Academy has been recently invited to participate at the Diatonische Internazionale held in Klagenfurt, Austria, the first international meeting of diatonic accordion players.
the Accordion Academy would be glad to collaborate with other associations around the world that share the same passion for traditional music and diatonic accordion. The Accordion Academy can be contacted and invited in order to organize abroad courses concerning the Italian traditional music for diatonic accordion.
