Klezmamo was born from the encounter of Monique Gelders( voice & accordeon), Marielle Vancamp( violin)- both from the 'Baladins du Miroir'-,
Rene Stock( double bass) and
Julien Delbroeck( sax- clarinet)
from a blues and jazz background.
This quartet explores the klezmer repertoire, also combining it with songs from the Sefardic world or improvisations inspired by the musicians’ backgrounds.
